Production
Verseidag manufactures coated fabric membranes for highly specialised applications – managed by experts with many years of experience in various levels of technology.
We operate four state-of-the-art production plants:
At the weaving mill in Straelen-Herongen, Verseidag processes high-performance yarns such as glass, aramid and high-strength polyester in widths of up to six metres, making use of the most advanced warp and weaving technologies.
Woven textiles and knitted fabrics are coated, lacquered and embossed on ten ultra-modern machines at our two facilities in Krefeld.
The materials: PVC, PTFE, PU and neoprene in widths of up to 5.20 metres. Adhesive, textile and film bonds with up to seven layers are additionally produced on three calenders, hot-melt machines and flatbed laminators.
The logistics and processing centre in Grefrath-Oedt is where we carry out quality controls, cut slats and tapes to the required length and width and punch parts.
Verseidag is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified company.

Expertise in materials
In addition to fabrics made from high-performance materials, every one of our products has a functionally optimised polymer coating based on premium engineering plastics such as PVC, PTFE, acrylates and polyurethanes. These coating materials are likewise developed and produced in-house. That’s why we are able to offer product solutions tailored to the specific application – irrespective of the individual material manufacturer.
Innovation and development
New fields of application, new products and market innovations are a central, integral part of our corporate strategy. In addition to existing products for today’s markets, we continuously develop materials for new types of application and design new products that add significant value for our customers compared to conventional alternatives.
This is possible thanks to a unique, interdisciplinary team of experts consisting of chemists, textile engineers, paint specialists, plastics engineers and laboratory technicians. The team is complemented by application specialists in the fields of architecture, renewable energies, digital printing and ballistics.
